We respect your personal information and property, and we want to help protect others as well. Please remember, MyFiction staff will never ask for your password or other personal information.

MyFiction is open to everyone, everywhere. Please know that whatever you post can be seen by millions of people. Don’t post anything you wouldn’t want to share with anyone else.

Every writer knows what their story is about. Please be mindful of others and rate your story accordingly: Everyone or Mature. The rating doesn’t affect the algorithm, but it can affect the audience you are targeting and the overall experience of your readers.

The content of the story is appropriate for all ages. If there’s a sex scene, it’s not explicit or detailed, or it fades to black.
Sex scenes do not drive the main plot of the story.

The target audience is MyFiction readers aged 17+. The theme of the story is for adults.
Sex scenes are more detailed and drive the story forward.

If your story talks about sensitive topics, we encourage you to add a Trigger Warning. The complete list is HERE. If our Support Team thinks your story needs a Trigger Warning, we will set it in your story without any option to dismiss it.

MyFiction makes a distinction between erotica and pornography.
Pornography: a graphic depiction of the physical act of sex. The story (if there is one) serves sex.
Erotica: tells a story that involves sexual themes. Sex functions in a larger context: it has aesthetic, artistic, or emotional value and furthers the plot and characterization. Sex serves the story.

The age of consent is 16+ on MyFiction.

Glorification of Rape, Assault, Violence, Sexual Assault, Gore, or Extreme Violence is banned on MyFiction.

Glorification of Self-Harm and Suicide is banned on MyFiction.

Glorification of Racism (any kind), Bullying, Religious or Politic Fanaticism, Slavery, and/or Elitism is banned on MyFiction. MyFiction has the right to remove and/or block users without advance notice for harassment of others.

Glorification of Drug or Alcohol Abuse is banned on MyFiction.

Glorification of human trafficking, animal cruelty/bestiality, illegal gambling, selling of drugs.

Any media containing private parts or genitalia, breasts, and buttocks, as well as any media displaying sexual intercourse, self-harm, or graphic violence of any kind.

Copyright is intellectual property. The original creators of stories are the only ones with the right to reproduce. MyFiction has the right to remove a story that is copyrighted content.

Any content that advertises products or services other than Crazy Maple Studio will be removed.

Media on MyFiction include avatars, cover, and images inside the story. We want to ensure MyFiction is a safe environment for everyone, writers and readers alike, and we may remove images that don’t follow our Content Guidelines. The following media is not allowed on MyFiction, and will be removed:

➼ Media displaying sexual intercourse or any other sexual act.
➼ Media displaying self-harm or suicide.
➼ Media displaying violent acts.
➼ Images of people posted without their consent.
➼ Images of illegal drug use.
➼ Any other media that captures illegal acts.

MyFiction has the right to remove any media or content deemed inappropriate to ensure our community is a safe and inclusive place for everyone.
